I’m so happy to share with you the launch of my new photography business and my brand new site!

Launching my photography & film business has been some time coming with lots of love and labour into getting everything ready to make the transition from stay-at-home-mama to working girl.

We’ll I am finally there and I am just a bit too excited!

If you know me in real life or have followed my personal blog you will know how passionate I am about documenting delight. Getting to do this for a living makes me one of the luckiest people I know!

Being a brand new site my Facebook page is lookin’ a little lonely so I thought it would be great to get some ‘likes’ on my page and celebrate the launch of Georgia Peach Pictures by holding a referral competition.

It’s very simple – the person that refers the highest number of people to ‘like’ our facebook page will receive a complimentary session and a $300 Georgia Peach Pictures credit. That’s right, tell your friends about it and you could win some beautiful memories for your family!

All you’ve gotta do is to tell your friends to comment on our Facebook page wall telling me who sent them!

Subject to terms and conditions as detailed below.

  1. This session includes your complimentary sitting fee and a $300 Georgia Peach Pictures credit voucher. It is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  2. The complimentary session and credit can apply to either portraiture or film.
  3. The competition is open now and ends Sunday the 9th of October at 8pm EST. The winner will be announced on this blog the following evening Monday the 10th of October at 6pm EST.
  4. Must be redeemed in Brisbane, Queensland between Nov 1st & December 31st 2011 (Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast available by request).

The first shoot I wanted to share with you is my lovely brother, Nick, his wife Hannah and their adorable two. Hannah and I talked about doing a family shoot and we wanted to do something memorable and real for their family. Nick is a keen fisherman so taking their son Zen on his very first fishing trip was very special and I was lucky enough to be there to document it for them.

Because these are four people I love very much I can’t help but sharing an awful lot of their photos with you! Enjoy them!

Isn’t my sister-in-law, Hannah, the loveliest? She is such a beautiful mama and I was so glad she brought her boobs along to our shoot ;)

Sweet Milla had to amuse herself while the boys were fishing and I couldn’t help but be entertained by this little sprite. She is such a doll!

My sweet nephew Zen is a mover. He runs. He explores. He does.not.sit.still.

It was so beautiful to see him on this shoot so happy and content with his Papa, and so willing to connect with me and my camera. I feel incredibly blessed that he gave me these moments.

We also thought it was important that Zen’s first fishing trip was no disappointment so we came prepared with a fish or two of our own ;)

Which, btw were considerably more appealing than the real life ones being gutted around the jetty. If I could pull fish like this from the water I would indeed be a fisher myself!
